Online Title IX Specialization Certifications
Tulane Law School offers five different specialization certifications for those who need expertise in particular areas of Title IX compliance.
Each specialization certification consists of multiple individual certificates and provides participants with the legal foundations of Title IX and related laws, including basic tenets of education law, constitutional claims, contract principles and tort law.
Title IX Adjudicator
This specialization certification is for those internal and external personnel who have responsibility for adjudicating disciplinary matters related to Title IX. It provides details on how to thoughtfully structure and handle hearings in a professional manner that allow participants a meaningful opportunity to be heard while ensuring that all applicable laws are followed in the process.

Title IX Investigator
This specialization is geared to both professionals within and outside educational institutions who have been tasked to investigate Title IX related claims including allegations of sexual misconduct, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking and sexual harassment. You will explore processes, practices and strategies to ensure that Title IX investigations are thorough and equitable.
